“King of Moisturizing Effect”
Harakeke Found in Clean New Zealand

“Harakeke” is THE SAEM’s first signature ingredient
that reflects the global eco spirit.
Harakeke is a native species of clean New Zealand.
This valuable natural plant source shares the 1,000 years of history
with Maori people. After continuous researches on value of harakeke,
we released the original moisturizing skin care line,
“Urban Eco Harakeke”, in fall 2012.

“Treasure of Active Ingredients”
Waratah Found in Australian Continent

"Waratah" is the second signature ingredient found by
THE SAEM to share the global eco spirit.
“Waratah” is the indigenous plant embracing the energy of the nature from Australia,
which is known to be the oldest continent in the earth.
We focused on the fact that big and red waratah flowers
with dozens of stamens are rich in active ingredients such as amino acids
and sugars that compose the natural moisturizing factors in the skin barrier.
In spring 2016, we released the original skin barrier strengthening and skin care line,
“Urban Eco Waratah” line.
We will try our best to share the value of healthy beauty
as always by keeping the meaning of waratah, “Beauty Seen From A Distance”.

Original Ingredient 3
A “Precious Ingredient” Golden Berry found
in Peruvian Andes Alpine Region.

‘Golden Berry’ is the SAEM’s third signature ingredient
that inherits the spirit of Global Eco.
The Golden Berry grows in a healthy environment and has been enjoyed
as a healthy superfood since the Inca era.
the SAEM focused on the golden berry’s rich vitamin C, vitamin E,
vitamin A, polyphenol, and various active ingredients
and released “Urban Eco Golden Berry C Line”
for brightening skin care in the spring of 2022.
the SAEM promises to conduct continuous researches
in order to reflect the value of the “Golden Berry”
without destroying nutrients, for more transparent beauty.

Original Idea
The brand shop’s first button-type lipstick, “Eco Soul Kiss Button Lips”

“Can lipsticks as vivid as tints and as moist as lip balms?”
To answer this question, we have been researching on textures continuously.
We also researched on the containers essential
for lipsticks as moist as lip balms.
That is how the first button-type lipstick,
“Eco Soul Kiss Button Lips” was released in fall 2014.
Since Eco Soul Kiss Button Lips were a huge hit,
we continued to release matte series, pop series,
and red edition for trend-leading textures and colors.
The lipstick hit accumulative sales of 12 million in 2021 and it now
became THE SAEM’s signature lipstick loved by the customers.
